Answers to the questions travellers ask us most.

Do I book with Secret Trips?

No. We’re a search and comparison site. When you click through, you book and pay on the partner’s site (for example the airline, a travel agency, or a hotel booking site). Your contract is with them.

How do I change or cancel a booking?

Contact the company shown on your booking confirmation email. They issued your ticket or reservation and are the only ones who can change it. Many offer self-service through “Manage booking” on their site.

Why is the price different on the partner’s site?

Airfares and hotel rates change constantly and depend on availability. Prices on our deals board were found recently but are not live quotes. The partner always shows the current price before you pay.

Are there any hidden fees?

We don’t add fees. Some airlines and agencies charge for bags, seat selection or card payments — check the total on the partner’s checkout page before paying.

Is my payment secure?

We never see your payment details. Payments are processed by the partner on their own secure checkout.

What is a travel eSIM?

A digital SIM you install by scanning a QR code. It gives you mobile data abroad without swapping your physical SIM. Check that your phone supports eSIM before buying.

My flight was delayed. Can I get money back?

Under EU rules (EC 261), flights departing the EU, or arriving in the EU on an EU airline, may qualify for up to €600 for long delays or cancellations. A claims service on our Extras page can check your flight.

Why should I create an account?

It’s optional. An account lets you save destinations, keep a history of your searches and set your home airport so deals start from your city.

How do I delete my account?

Go to My trips → Your data → Delete my account. Your personal data is removed immediately.
